Cleo Pay has three plans: Starter, Growth and Max. You pay per seat, and each plan includes a minimum number of seats and a number of payments each month. If you send more payments than your plan includes, each extra payment is billed at your plan's overage rate. Current prices are on our pricing page.
What each plan includes
| Plan | Seats included | Payments included each month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 1 | 20 |
| Growth | 3 | 100 |
| Max | 5 | 300 |
The pricing page in the app and Settings, then Plan, show your exact allowance and the overage rate per payment.
What counts as a payment
A payment counts toward your allowance when it completes. That means a payment your business sent through Cleo Pay that went through.
These don't count:
- Payments that fail
- Bills you mark as paid outside Cleo Pay
- Payments your customers send you
The count starts again at the start of each billing period.
Seats
Each person on your team takes a seat, admins included. You're billed for the seats your plan includes even if fewer people use them. Past that, each extra person adds a seat.
- Adding someone: the seat is added when they accept the invite, and you're charged a prorated amount right away. The window where you invite them shows the amount first.
- Removing someone: the seat comes off at your next renewal. There's no credit for the current period.
- Adding back someone who left this period costs nothing until renewal, because that seat is already paid for.
See Invite your team and choose roles.
See your plan and usage
Only admins can see plan settings.
- Click Settings, then Plan.
- The Seats section shows your plan, Active seats, Billed this period, "Payments this period", any overage so far, your next bill and your next billing date.
Change your plan
- Click Settings, then Plan.
- Click Change plan.
- Pick the plan you want. The window shows what you'll be charged before you confirm.
Upgrades start today. You're charged now for the rest of the period, prorated. Moves to a lower plan start at renewal, and nothing is charged now. After an upgrade, a move to a lower plan applies no earlier than the end of your next billing period.
Manage billing
Click Manage Plan on the Plan page to open your billing portal, where you can update the payment method your plan is charged to.
If you see Contact Support instead of Manage Plan, your plan is set up by our team. Email support@cleo-pay.com to change it.
If a plan payment fails, the Plan page shows "Payment Failed". Click Update Payment Method to fix it.
More than one business
Each business has its own plan. A second business you create picks its own plan at setup. See Manage more than one business.
